Christmas card issued for the use of Zev and wife, Gertrude; Broughton; and fellow founder of Centaur Press, Kermit Sheet -- per OCLC, which locates only 3 copies. Prints a poem by Broughton inside with drawing on front by Zev depicting the arrival at a castle or cathedral of a bare-chested mermaid queen with wings holding an ornate umbrella aloft as she perches perilously atop a prancing unicorn. INSCRIBED IN FRENCH BY ZEV "mes meilleurs voex!" [best wishes], beneath which he has signed his wife's name (Gertrude) followed by "Zev" over which he adds a jeweled crown. 12 x 7.75" leaf folded once to make a 6 x 7.75" card. Very good or better with light rumpling and few small stains. Understandably scarce.
