London: Sidgwick & Jackson, Limited, 1915 and 1916. First edition of each. Both volumes are first separate editions of poems previously appearing in the 1915 collection 1914 AND OTHER POEMS. The first volume includes the sonnets "Peace," "Safety," two entitled "The Dead," and "The Soldier." The second volume prints only the title poem (in 7 pages) and includes a double page woodcut illustration of "The Old Vicarage, Grantchester," by Rooke. Both volumes bound in gray, sewn, soft cover paperwraps lettered and ruled in blue on the front cover. The first measures approximately 4,75 x 5.75" and the second approximately 5.25 x 7.25". Each is near fine with only minor creasing to edges. Original mailing envelope for "1914" included (darkened, torn and worn but mostly complete).
