Good only with boards exposed at corners and upper front cover, old damp stains affecting red top edge stain which has bled slightly onto upper margins, labels showing soiling but still bright; fore edges foxed, offset to front endpaper from item previously laid in, and offsets to pp. 25 and 101 & 102 (unnumbered divisional pages) from circa 1935 newspaper clippings laid in. Inside otherwise clean. Lacking scarce dust jacket. Although not indicated as such in the book, this copy is from the collection of sportswriter Paul "Dr. Z" Zimmerman.
