In dust jacket with price clipped and "$3.50" stamped beneath, being the presumed second state of the jacket, preceding those with printed price. [Note: It seems unlikely jackets with a printed "$3.50" price precede those clipped and with a rubber-stamped "$3.50" price added. A more likely scenario is there were 3 states of the jacket -- the first one priced either higher or lower than $3.50; second one with original price clipped and rubber-stamped $3.50 added; and third with $3.50 printed directly on the jacket.] Near fine with slight crimp in cloth at base of spine, gilt on spine a little tarnished, and slight tanning to pastedown edges (from binding materials); in very good dust jacket with lightly rubbed nicks to spine ends and corners, closed tear and touch of creasing on rear panel, and very mild tanning to title lettering on spine.
