Includes the complete novel, AS I LAY DYING, his Nobel Prize acceptance speech, and a selection of 11 stories, all of which were chosen by Faulkner. "I would like to think of this volume as representative not so much of my work as of my imaginary county" (dust jacket flap). Near fine with few slight rumples to pages; in about very good, slightly darkened dust jacket tanned and lightly marked at spine but showing only a touch of minor edge wear. Relatively scarce.
