Carmen Gomezplata was chief copy editor at Farrar Straus for decades and well known for her professionalism combined with a personal touch (Madeleine L'Engle even dedicated one of her books to her). Faint foxing to page edges, slight tanning along top and bottom edge of boards, and spine edges mildly bumped, otherwise near fine in very good or better dust jacket with some rubbing, especially at spine ends with tiny nicks, and faint foxing.
