In lovely polished red calf binding by Root with original buff-colored covers and spine bound in at rear. 12mo full red leather with covers triple ruled in gilt; gilt decorated raised spine bands, 4 floral design gilt-stamped spine compartments and 3 brown leather gilt-lettered titling compartments; all edges gilt; gilt decorated turn ins; marbled endpapers; and red ribbon marker. Very good to near fine with few small rubbed spots to covers and splashes of light staining affecting lower portions of few pages.
