Beckett set it aside after it was turned down by several publishers, stipulating it not be published until after his death. Edited by Eoin O'Brien and Edith Fournier, with an introduction by O'Brien. Number 27 of 130 specially bound and numbered copies from a total edition of 150. 8vo blue moire-style cloth boards stamped in brown (or olive green?) on spine; author's stylized initials stamped in blind on front; marbled endpapers; 241 pages. Housed in green silk moire covered slipcase with deep blue ribbon pull. Fine in fine slipcase and original, unprinted acetate dust jacket.
