True first edition, preceding the Farrar, Straus edition. Near fine with spine ends a little tanned and few tiny bumps to board edges; in very good dust jacket with minor soiling, scant wear to edges, and dark pink portions toned to light pink on spine leaving the illustrations bright but the slightly tanned white lettering difficult to read.
