PACIFIC SUN, Wednesday, October 14, 1970; "The Man Who Was Brother Antoninus" or "The Tale of a Triple Virgo."

(San Rafael: Pacific Sun, 1970). First edition. Presumed offprint from the "Year 8, Number 41" issue. Starts on "Page 4" but with masthead present and, although the newspaper would seem to have been a free one, a printed price of "10 cents." Folio-sized bifolium (single leaf folded once to make 4 pages). Pages numbered or referenced to as being pages 4 - [6] -- with the unnumbered page "5" being a double-page photo spread. Article by Don Stanley; photography by John and Suzanne Arms. Also prints 8 photographs by E. David Show, "published here for the first time," of Everson after a reading at UC Davis during "his wrenching disavowal of his order, with its pain and passion," which has been "spectacularly caught" in a series of photographs showing him as he walks off the stage and removes his vestments. Near fine with only slight age darkening and minor edge wear. Rare.
