Six short stories, two of which ("Big Brother" and "Recoil") were each the basis for both a 1920s silent film and 1930s pre-code "talkie." 8vo red cloth boards stamped in black on front and spine; 367 pages. Very good in about very good dust jacket with thin arced stain near base of spine, rear panel somewhat soiled, and few short tears but without any chipping or loss.
