Includes the first appearance of his poem "Not without Knowledge" (by "Thomas Lanier Williams, Missouri Chapter of the College Poetry Society.) One of his earliest appearances in print. Williams is also listed and presumably pictured (we can't pick him out) on page 224 among the members of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. A hefty, lavish production -- quarto brown cloth elaborately stamped in blind and gilt; brown-and-green marbled, textured endpapers; decorative tissue guards with ornamentation and lettering in gilt; printed in black and gold throughout; 408 pages. Near fine with color touch up to spine ends and edges. Scarce.
