Number 27 of 40 numbered copies printed on Rives Heavyweight paper and SIGNED BY WAGENER (from a total edition of 65). ADDITIONALLY INSCRIBED by Wagener at colophon to collector Allen K. Mears, "For Allen / With Best Regards / Richard Wagener / 1/15/07." The first 25 copies were specially bound and included a separate suite of signed prints. THOUGH NOT CALLED FOR, this copy also includes the SEPARATED SUITE OF FOUR SIGNED PRINTS housed in stiff deep-purple paper folding case, presumably as issued with the deluxe edition of 25. The prints are woodcut images of the Pantages Theatre, Palomar Observatory, and 2 vintage automobiles from the 1950s. Small 4to quarter tan cloth with printed spine label and charcoal paper covered boards; deep purple endpapers; 59 unnumbered pages. Fine. ALSO INCLUDES printouts of email correspondence between Mears and Wagener in which Wagener discusses making fresh prints of 2 of the engravings specifically for Mears, clarifies that he printed the book himself, and regrets not having had time to issue a prospectus for this, the first book issued by his press.
