Hand printed, on a Vandercook 219 press, in Dante type and printed letterpress on Frankfurt Cream paper by Sandra Liddell Reese at Turkey Press; this being the Press' 41st book publication. Hand bound in paper covered boards with linen spine. Paper on the boards is hand inked in a multi-colored design. 60 pages, 6.5 x 9 inches. The book was designed by Harry Reese, who also made the paper for the deluxe edition. That edition consisted of 40 copies, 26 of which were for sale and 14 of which were reserved for the author and publisher. Inserted in the book is the prospectus, measuring 8.2 x 10.8 inches, printed on cream-colored laid paper, which has a 14-line statement on Laughlin by Guy Davenport. This collection of poems is followed by explanatory jottings by Laughlin that are full of brilliance and learning. The author was the publisher of New Directions. The book is in very fine condition, with a very good prospectus.
