Waugh's working title for the book was "Bright Young Things," a tabloid nickname for the hard-partying young aristocrats and socialites of 1920s London whom he satirizes herein. 8vo green cloth-backed, decorated yellow paper boards; spine stamped in yellow; top edge black. About very good with edges a little toned and rubbed, minor creasing to spine, and boards visible at tips; in near fine dust jacket with red lettering on spine faded but readable and subtle professional repair to edges. Housed in supplied plain black cloth slipcase. Scarce in dust jacket.
