First appearance of Kipling's introductory poem, "The Downs, The Weald, and The Marshes," followed by 24 selections from Kipling's verses, each accompanied by a full-page color Illustration by Maxwell. Small quarto gilt-stamped blue cloth; top edge gilt. Spine ends and corners bumped, unavoidable darkening to endpapers, otherwise very good to near fine in good to very good trimmed dust jacket that is slightly tanned at spine, shows few faint tape shadows and 1/4" or so chipping at spine ends (not affecting any lettering or design).
