A play with illustrations by Daniel Harris in his first appearance as "Zev." The first book from the Centaur Press, which was founded by Broughton and Kermit Sheet. INSCRIBED WITH A LARGE DRAWING BY ZEV on front endpaper, "For Herbert and Zelda/ & Co./ With Love! Love! Love!/ Love! Love!/ From Zev/ (& his spouse)/ Sept 1951." The drawing depicts a father returning home to his wife and two children with what appears to be an airplane in his hands. Very good with paperclip impression and touch of rust affecting small area of inscription, small area of fading and touch of wear at head of spine, and boards slightly sprung; in a good or better dust jacket that is lightly chipped and somewhat tanned.
