The tale of a mid-1920s cross-country trip narrated by "The Kid," who recalls the mechanical breakdowns, inclement weather, and unfriendly local law enforcement along the way. Very good with minor crease to lower corner front board and the usual darkening along inner hinges (due to binding materials); in a bright, very good dust jacket with shallow chipping to corners and spine ends, red portions of spine toned to pink, and few stains on verso of spine which faintly show through.
