Edited from the original by William Bray, who also provides a biographical introduction, and with special introduction by Richard Garnett. Includes hand-colored frontispiece SIGNED by the engraving editor and five full-page photogravures from paintings by various artists. Both volumes bound in red leather with elaborate gilt and color designs and lettering; top edges gilt; marbled endpapers; slipcases. First volume starting to crack along spine, otherwise both are very good with rubbing along spines and spine ends nicked. Slipcases are also very good though the top of one is partially detached and the bottom of the other is beginning to separate at the bottom.
