One in the presumed first-state dust jacket with photo of McCullers leaning forward (vs. back) on rear panel and rear flap blurbs beginning with Tennessee Williams (closed tear extending from top of cut-out to jacket top edge). The other in presumed variant, or perhaps later-issue jacket with photo of McCullers leaning back on rear panel and rear flap blurbs beginning with Sitwell and with a new line added. Both jackets have four blurbs--by Williams, Sitwell, Pritchett and David Garnett. Both in price-clipped dust jackets with minor wear on corners and spine ends.
