Brings together the original 1924 French text, prefaces from two subsequent French editions and Eliot's preface from his translation first published in the U.S. in 1930. (Eliot's preface, which appears in the back of the book, is in English; the rest of the text is French.) Small quarto tan paperwraps printed in black and red on front and spine. Edges darkened otherwise very good.

Volume 2: Rock-crystal, Enamelled glass and Ceramics. Each volume with loosely inserted plates (52 in volume one and 51 in volume 2) and preliminary plain paperwraps booklet with explanations and descriptions of each plate. Laid into tan paper-board covers printed on front in dark gray, with gray cloth spines lettered in gilt, and ribbon ties at fore edges. Spines a little rumpled and very lightly frayed, boards darkened, otherwise about very good with plates themselves being fine.

The trade edition, as their was a limited edtion of 75 numbered copies on better paper.
