ON THE BEACH. Nevil Shute. ON THE BEACH.
Melbourne: Heinemann, (1957). First Australian edition. Light foxing on page edges, name and date on front endpaper, spine ends slightly faded, otherwise a bright, crisp copy, that is very good or better in about very good price clipped dust jacket with some wear and small chips on corners and spine ends and a touch of subtle staining. We're not sure where this edition fits but it reportedly precedes the UK edition. The book was set and printed in Australia and given the setting of the book, it would seem to be the edition to have.
