She has written a classical tragedy, in blank verse, based on the story of Oedipus, but set on a plantation in antebellum South Carolina...Dove's verse is stark and stirring (Booklist review). Quarter plum cloth over black cloth boards stamped in silver on front and spine. Fine without dust jacket, as issued.
