Muir was a Broadway and film actress who co-starred in the stage and movie versions of the Marx Brothers, "A Day at the Races," and many other plays and movies. Cloth a little darkened on spine with a few minor water stains; in price-clipped dust jacket with few small pieces of tape on verso, sunned spine (lettering not affected) and other wear and minor soiling. Still, a very good copy and a nice association from the '30s. Printed in January 1934, just three months after the first printing in October, 1933. Parker inscriptions are scarce if not rare in our experience. NICE ASSOCIATION, INSCRIBED.
