One of just 66 copies printed from Dodgson's original manuscript journals in which he describes his tour with Henry Parry Liddon through Europe and into Russia in the summer of 1867. Original 8vo gilt-stamped red leather over limp boards; top edge gilt; 65 pages. Good with corners nicked, spine ends chipped away, spine darkened and showing flaking near ends (not affecting the gilt lettering), rubbing to gilt top edge, and front hinge paper cracked but cover still holding. Lacking the glassine and box. Exceedingly scarce.
