Both men were prominent members of various socialist parties and corresponded at least from 1948 to 1961 (judging by University of Pennsylvania holdings). Very good to near fine with light foxing to endpapers and page edges. Lacking the dust jacket but with promotional flyer laid in. Provenance: from the collection of Charles Zimmerman's son, sports writer Paul "Dr. Z" Zimmerman.
