The text is from the fragments of Parmenides of Elea newly translated into English by Bringhurst ("That is all I will confide to you for now/ of my perception of reality./ I intend to speak of fiction from here on...."). INSCRIBED BY BRINGHURST on colophon, "for Allen Mears, with best wishes/ Robert Bringhurst/ April 2003." Fine.
