London [No-place]: Lovat Dickson / (Arden), (1934). First U.S. edition. Collects two novellas. "The first story is concerned with the adventures, charmingly and delicately told, of a young girl with Lesbian tendencies" (from the jacket front panel). Translated from the Swedish by Paula Wiking. Published from the sheets of the London edition retaining the Lovat Dickson title page but with "Arden" on spine of both book and dust jacket. 8vo red cloth boards lettered in black on spine; in dust jacket similar in design to that of the British edition though printed in black only. Minimal darkening to pastedowns (offset from binding) otherwise fine in very good to near fine dust jacket with only light dust soiling and few tiny chips and tears.
