AN INTERESTING TWO-VOLUME SET composed of copies number 128 and 207. Number 128 with spine stamped in gilt, mylar jacket, and publisher's prospectus laid in with Robinson Jeffers "First Day of Issue" 8-cent postage stamp on front upper-right corner postmarked Carmel, CA, Aug.13, 1973. TOGETHER WITH copy number 207 with spine stamped in silver (versus gold). Broomfield [A64] notes 2 different issues of the spine stamping with the first being gilt and the second black but does not record this silver stamping. Designed by Graham Mackintosh. Printed at the Capra Press on Strathmore Art Laid paper. Half crimson calf over gray linen boards. Spine lettering rubbed and dulled and spine ends a bit worn on first volume (#128). Barely perceptible mark on spine of second volume (#207) which is otherwise quite bright and fine. Prospectus fine.
