New York: Center for Book Arts, 2005. First edition. The Center's innovative 30th-anniversary publication. Number 3 of 75 copies SIGNED BY BRINGHURST, HENRY, KYLE, and RICHARD MINSKY, The Center’s founder and the project’s coordinator. THIS COPY ADDITIONALLY INSCRIBED BY BRINGHURST, "for Allen Mears,/ who may appreciate/ more than most not only/ the poetry but also/ Barbara's and Hedi's/ magnificent engineering." Four paperwraps 8 x 12” books, with last one containing Bringhurst’s afterword, subscribers list (Mear’s is 3rd on the list), and the colophon. Housed in box measuring approximately 17.25 x 17.25 x 4” containing 4 cloth-covered individual folding lecterns, one for each book. As Bringhurst characterized the overall structure, this is "a wonderfully complex piece of biblio-engineering made to behave as if it were simple."
