Unstitched folded proof sheets in trial covers with marbled paper design differing from that on other copies examined and THREE DIFFERENT TITLE PAGES – one with color blocking matching that in the finished book, one with the brown blocking a little darker, and one with green blocking. First separate appearance of Ritchie's tribute to Jeffers written shortly after his death which was issued in a stated limitation of only "about 50 copies" and printed by Ritchie himself on an Albion hand press. Multiple copies of some sheets, lacking only pages 27-28. Fine condition.
