PRINTING POETRY.

San Francisco: Scarab Press, 1980. First edition. In dust jacket. One of 2,000 copies. Foreword by Everson at the Lime Kiln Press. Bound by the Cardoza-James Bindery Co. of San Francisco. Cloth spine with decorated paper-covered boards. Although published in 1980, the book was not completely marketed until 1997. Once the advance orders were filled in 1980, the rest of the books began an odyssey that took them to a garage in Oakland, then to Washington state's Campbell Lake and Edith Point on Fidalgo Lake, then to Anacortes, Washington, Galisteo, New Mexico and finally to the Desert Rose Press near San Jose, New Mexico. Along the way many dust jackets and unbound sheets were lost due to water damage. As new, with prospectus.
