Promotional letter laid in from Kroch's & Brentano's with sales pitch for A CHILD OF THE CENTURY, Hecht's 1954 autobiography which Adolph Kroch calls "the most brain and heart-touching book of confessions I have ever read" (few tears and creases wear folded to sixths). TOGETHER WITH PROMOTIONAL EXCERPT "THE BEWITCHED TAILOR," a story appearing on pp.78-81 in the book. "which is to be published in October 1941." One of a designated 850 copies SIGNED BY HECHT & GROSZ. 8vo stapled paperwraps with folded paper covers printed in red (a little darkened and soft on edges but still very good or better).
