Text printed in black over abstract pastel color designs; accordion bound in unprinted green linen boards measuring 4.25 x 5.75"; unpaginated (approximately 38 "pages," each one spanning 2 physical pages). On her website, Nicholls' describes how she created the items in her "HOT DOUG'S SAUSAGE SUPERSTORE" series: "Several linoleum blocks were carved in different abstract forms that were used as a simple alphabet of shapes, and then printed spontaneously, layering color on top of color....Each print was ... then arranged and re-arranged to form an abstract narrative....the prints were bound into a series of eight accordion books and repurposed into three sets of boxed prints."
