BURGER with his ownership signature and personal bookplate gilt-stamped with the Supreme Court seal on front pastedown. Stevenson's book was a runaway best seller that year. This copy was a Christmas gift to Burger from his wife; inscribed on the endpaper, "For Warren / Christmas - 1976 [underscore] Elvera." Near fine with edges of boards a little faded. In fine dust jacket with subtle crease to spine and tiny red "dot" sticker next to price on front flap. Pale blue slip labeled "Library [underscore] Supreme Court, U.S." laid in.
