Although the dust jacket proclaims it to be the "First publication in this country of "A Classic of Science Fiction," the UK edition actually precedes the U.S. Contains two novellas published in the U.S. in serial form in Astounding Science Fiction magazine, "Universe" and "Common Sense" (together they are part of Heinlein's "Future History" series). Book shows subtle evidence of a previous life in a library--front free endpaper very neatly excised, thinning to few areas from erasure (title/copyright leaf; base of last page), and touch of minor wrinkling to rear free endpaper--which is too bad because otherwise it is near fine in a fine dust jacket. TRUE FIRST EDITION.
