Presumably inscribed to Thomas "Tommy the Cork" Corcoran (1900-1981), one of several New Deal advisors in Franklin D. Roosevelt's brain trust and, later, a close friend and advisor to Lyndon B. Johnson. He was nicknamed "Tommy the Cork" by Roosevelt, and continued to hold sway even afer leaving the White House. Light rubbing to corners and spine ends, otherwise near fine in bright, near dust jacket with just a few minior rubbed creases to spine ends and one tiny tear. INSCRIBED BY KENNEDY.
