NEW ORLEANS: Its Old Houses, Shops and Public Buildings.

Philadelphia: Lippincott Co. 1933. First edition. With two illustrations in color, 70 line drawings in duotone, and 2 folding maps. Review copy with slip laid in noting a price of $3.50 and publication date of February 23. One corner bumped, spine faded as usually seen, some spotting to spine and gilt spine lettering dulled but front-cover gilt still bright, altogether good or better. Lacking dust jacket. INTERESTING DITTOED SHEET LAID IN headed "Nathaniel C. Curtis/ Author of"; a short, one-page list of his "likes and dislikes." No sunsets or walking on the beach, thankfully, but he does like to "jump over-board with his clothes on and dry out in the sun" and "enjoys all kinds of weather especially stormy weather." Go figure.
