The story of a former American fighter pilot, who, traumatized by his experiences in World War I, decides to search for some meaning in his life. It has been filmed twice, in 1946 starring Tyrone Power, Gene Tierney, Anne Baxter (who won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar) and remade in 1984 starring Bill Murray and Teresa Russell. Very good to near fine with rubbing on edges, slightly cocked spine, small discoloration on rear, tiny stain on spine, apart from that, binding strong, corners sharp, bright lettering on spine. Dust jacket has age toned spine, soiling, rubbing and chipping on edges, but still very good.***PLEASE INQUIRE BEFORE PURCHASE. DESCRIPTION NOT FULLY VETTED***.
