"Untitled 17/68," i.e., Miller's 17th painting produced in 1968. Image measures approximately 23 x 30" and depicts in bright primary colors a palm tree, flowers and woman against the backdrop of a colorful village. Matted and framed in white on white with overall dimensions of approximately 32 x 40". Inscription beginning to fade, few inconspicuous pinpricks to edges, otherwise fine. featured on page 87 of THE PAINTINGS OF HENRY MILLER: PAINT AS YOU LIKE AND DIE HAPPY [San Francisco: Chronicle Books, (1982)]. INSCRIBED TO HIS PACIFIC PALISADES SECRETARY.
