Clive Hirschhorn is a South African writer and critic who moved to London in 1963. He is known for his long tenure as film and theater critic for the British Sunday Express newspaper and as the author of several well-received books about the film industry and its stars. He was also a serious book collector whose highspots were put at auction in 2012, including this one. And someone we always enjoyed having drinks or dinner with when we were in London.
