Looking forward to seeing you. Bob." Inscription is to poet Ernest Kroll, who provided the following blurb that appears on the back cover: "Genuine in an age of phonies. Comes through as Sargent pure, a sure voice. -- Ernest Kroll." Also INCLUDES AN AUTOGRAPH POSTCARD AND PROMOTIONAL CARD, both to Kroll. The postcard speaks of getting Kroll's book TATTOO PARLOR AND OTHER FRAXIOMS, "-- a beautiful book and poems are fresh, original" and about visiting after his return from a trip to Europe. The card advertises a Sargent reading and has a note on back personally asking Kroll to come. Near fine in paperwraps. INSCRIBED TO POET PROVIDING A BACK-COVER BLURB.
