No title or copyright page. 63 numbered pages printed on rectos only. Folio unprinted cream wraps with New Directions address label with publication information for hard cover and paperback issues pasted at top ("addressed" to Bridgette Weeks, Washington Post Book World from Elizabeth Harper, Publicity Director) and with glossy dust jacket mock-up pasted below the address label (differs slightly from the eventual dust jacket--no translation credit under the title). Copy of a hand-corrected typescript of Reid's introduction is laid in: 4 numbered pages, rectos only, stapled. The book collects seven lectures delivered by Borges in Buenos Aires between June and August 1977 on "Seven Nights." A little soiling and light wear otherwise near fine. Quite scarce.
