OTHER VOICES, OTHER ROOMS. Truman Capote. OTHER VOICES, OTHER ROOMS.
New York: Random House, (1948). First edition. Review-style photograph of Capote by Phyllis Cerf (wife of publisher Bennett Cerf) laid in. Differs from the iconic photo by Harold Halma used on the dust jacket. Normally would have assumed this was a copy sent for review. But the photo is similar to another by Cerf done in 1959, so it's hard to say. Near fine with very faint foxing along upper cover edges and a few small spots of light soiling. In near fine dust jacket with just a few small nicks and tears.
