A paperback original -- "Ace Double Books D-15" bound tete-beche (head-to-toe) with an abridged edition of Maurice Helbrant's "Narcotic Agent." From the collection of sports writer Paul "Dr. Z" Zimmerman with his penciled notations inside rear cover. Covers show light rubbing and few minor creases, pages and inside covers tanned at edges, much more so on first and final pages (or, in this case, first and first pages), otherwise very good or better. No. 88 in the Travellers' Companion Series. The first novel in Burroughs "Nova Trilogy" and using his experimental "cut-up" technique created with Brion Gysin. Near fine in green printed wraps. In very good to near fine dust jacket with spine a little tanned, light rubbing to folds and edges, and tiny tear at head of spine. SECOND ISSUE.
