About very good in decorative dark brown boards with gilt lettering on spine, rear cover has small soiled marks, beginnings of fraying on lower spine end, previous owner's name twice, on free endpaper (top corner chipped), and again on front free page, light shallow damp stain along bottom edge of first 30 pages, and two Christmas stamps dated 1908 on Contents page.
