His first novel, and in our humble opinion a great book, made into a wonderful movie with Robert Duval as Santini (not all our friends appreciated it as much as we). Red dot on bottom page edges, small faded area at base of spine, otherwise fine in dustwrapper with a few unobtrusive nicks but without any foxing on the back, which is usually found with this title.
